Do I have to register with Nanea or can I just drop by?
You are very welcome at Nanea! But please register for each lesson and each course/workshop beforehand. There are only a limited number of spots available.
If you would like to train with Nanea on a regular basis, please register for our online booking system.
If you rarely visit Nanea (e.g. you’re on holiday here), you can just send us a text message or call us on mobile +41 79 176 37 03 to sign up.

How can I register as a new customer for the booking system?
Nanea works with the booking system fitogram. It allows you to book or cancel your lessons and courses anytime, anywhere via smartphone, tablet or PC and you can also see where spots are still available.
If you already have a fitogram account, e.g. from another studio using the same booking system, all you need to do is log in.
If you do not have a fitogram account yet and are new to Nanea, you have to register once. This is very easy and of course free of charge.
This is how you do it:
Step 1: In the Nanea timetable you can see the current lessons, courses, workshops, etc.
Step 2: Select the desired offer you would like to sign up for and click on «Book».
Step 3: You will now be taken to the course overview where you can opt for a subscription or a single entry. Click again on «Book».
Step 4: To complete the booking, you need a fitogram account. If you don’t have one yet, you can now enter your first name, last name, your email address and a password in the lower part of the page.
Step 5: Once you have registered, you can choose the payment method you want to use to pay for your subscription or single entry (e.g. PayPal and others). Then you complete your registration by clicking on the button «Order now». Done!
With your fitogram account you can now book, manage and partly even cancel lessons, courses and workshops of Nanea.
How can I sign up for a lesson?
You can register online until 2 hours before the beginning of the lesson.
This is how you proceed:
Step 1: In the Nanea timetable you can see the current lessons.
Step 2: Select the desired lesson by clicking on «Book».
Step 3: You will now be taken to the course overview where you can opt for a subscription or a single entry. Click on «Book» again.
Step 4: To complete the booking, you need a fitogram account. If you don’t have one yet, you can now enter your first name, last name, email and a password in the lower part of the page. Otherwise you log in now.
Step 5: Once you have registered (or logged in), you can now choose a payment method to pay for your subscription or single entry (e.g. PayPal and others). Then you complete your registration by clicking on the button «Order now». Done!
Every booking will be confirmed by email.
How can I register for a course/workshop?
You can register online until 24 hours before the beginning of the course/workshop.
This is how you proceed:
Step 1: If you receive the Nanea Newsletter, you can either register directly for a specific course/workshop using the link in the newsletter or select a course/workshop in the Nanea timetable.
Step 2: You will then be taken directly to the desired course in the booking system and select it by clicking on «Book».
Step 3: Now you are in the course overview where you can book a subscription or a single entry. Click on «Book» again.
Step 4: To complete the booking, you need a fitogram account. If you don’t have one yet, you can now enter your first name, last name, your email and a password in the lower part of the page. Otherwise you log in now.
Step 5: Once you have registered (or logged in), you can now choose a payment method to pay the course fee (e.g. PayPal or others). Then complete your registration by clicking on the button «Order now». Done!
Your booking will be confirmed by email.
Registration for a course or workshop is always binding. Please also refer to the cancellation policy in our General Terms and Conditions (AGB).
After I registered, I ended up on the waiting list. What do I have to do?
A limited number of spots are available for all Nanea offers. Once this is reached, you will be placed on a waiting list and will be notified as soon as a spot becomes available in the requested lesson or course/workshop and you can move up. Until then you don’t need to do anything.
If a spot becomes available in the desired lesson or course/workshop, you will automatically be registered for it and will receive confirmation by email. So if you end up on the waiting list, check your mailbox from time to time.
How can I book a private lesson?
Private lessons (personal trainings) cannot be booked online. Please make an appointment with Nanea. You can reach us by email or phone +41 79 176 37 03. Nanea reserves the right to request your credit card as security for the booking/reservation.
How can I integrate a booking into my calendar?
After you have successfully registered for a lesson or course/workshop, you will receive a confirmation by email. In this email you will find a calendar icon called «Booking.ics». Click on this icon to integrate the appointment into your calendar.
Note: The appointment is autonomous. If you (or Nanea) have to cancel the appointment, the appointment must be manually removed from your calendar.
How can I unsubscribe from a lesson?
You are already subscribed to a lesson and wish to unsubscribe? This can be done online until 2 hours before the beginning of the lesson.
This is how you proceed:
Step 1: Log in under your fitogram account.
Step 2: At the top right you can generate an overview of all your appointments or orders. Now click on the lesson you want to cancel.
Step 3: To book a new date instead of the date you want to cancel, simply click on «back» and select the new date in the calendar. If you have a subscription, it will now be displayed under «Subscribe with». To register for the new appointment with an existing subscription, simply click on «Book». Alternatively, you can also buy a new, additional product (e.g. single entry or new subscription) here and then register with it (appears under «Register with») by simply clicking on «Book».
Step 4: If you now go to the «Dates» tab at the top right, you can see your bookings.
Step 5: If you do not want to book a new or different date, you can simply click on «Cancel» and your subscription will again be credited with a credit/point.
Important: Please note that you can only opt out without charge online up to 2 hours before the beginning of the lesson. In case of cancellation at short notice (e.g. verbally or by SMS) or in case of no-show, the lesson will be fully charged.
How can I unsubscribe from a course/workshop?
Registrations for courses and workshops are generally binding. Cancellations or changes of bookings must therefore be made in writing. You can send us an e-mail.
The following cancellation conditions apply:
- Cancellation up to 7 days before the start of the course or rebooking: Fee of CHF 50.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the start of the course, in case of cancellation or no-show: 100% of the course costs.
A reimbursement of course fees will only be given in case of illness or accident and only upon presentation of a medical certificate. Nanea reserves the right to refund the course fee in the form of a credit.

How can I unsubscribe from a private lesson?
Registrations for a private or personal training are generally binding. A cancellation must therefore be made at least 24 hours before the date. In case of a cancellation at short notice or no-show, the costs will be charged in full.

How can I buy a subscription at Nanea?
You can either register for a lesson in the Nanea timetable and then directly choose the appropriate subscription.
If you would like to buy a subscription independently of a course registration, simply go to the Nanea timetable and click on the «Prices» button in the top left corner of the drop-down menu. There you can choose your subscription and pay directly.
The validity of the subscription starts with the date of your first booking.
How long are the subscriptions valid for?

Can I extend a subscription?
In the event of illness or accident and upon presentation of a medical certificate, the validity of a subscription can be extended. The same applies to longer journeys or for compelling professional reasons. Please apply for extensions in writing and by email before the start of your absence. There is no general entitlement to an extension. Retroactive prolongations of subscriptions are not possible.
Can I book a trial lesson with Nanea?
Yes. Find out what you enjoy the most! A trial lesson costs less than a single entry and can therefore only be purchased once and only by people who have not yet attended regular lessons at Nanea and do not have a subscription.
You can book the trial lesson directly via the Nanea timetable on the website by selecting the desired lesson and then choosing the trial lesson instead of single entry. You can also pay directly through the booking system (or later at the studio).
If you don’t have an account for the booking system yet or don’t want to get one, you can register for a trial lesson via text message (+41 79 176 37 03) or email.

Are there gift vouchers from Nanea?
Yes, give away movement! You can not yet order and pay the vouchers online at the moment. Simply send us an email with the desired amount, the recipient and billing address. We will gladly send the lovingly wrapped voucher to your desired address.
A voucher from Nanea is definitely a moving gift!
Are the lessons and courses from Nanea recognized by health insurance companies?
Yes, Nanea is a member of the «Berufsverband für Bewegung und Gesundheit Schweiz (BGB)» as well as «Fitness-Guide» certified and therefore recognised by the Swiss health insurance companies. Please contact your health insurance company for information on cost sharing. If you wish, we can issue a confirmation for your health insurance company to reimburse the course costs.
Am I insured during my training with Nanea?
Insurance is in the responsibility of the participants. If you train with Nanea, you are fully responsible for yourself and for an adequate insurance coverage.
Do group lessons take place on public holidays?
There are usually no group lessons on public holidays. Holidays do not entitle you to extend your subscription.
Is Nanea studio open all year round?
Basically yes. However, Nanea reserves the right to close the studio for holidays and further education of the trainers. This will be announced in good time.
If the studio remains closed due to holidays or further training, the subscriptions are automatically extended for the duration of the closure.
Nanea Pilates also reserves the right to adjust or reduce the offer in the off-season.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter list at any time and without giving reasons. In each newsletter you will find a link at the bottom to unsubscribe from the list.
What does Nanea do for data protection?
The protection of privacy is very important to Nanea. Based on Art. 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person is entitled to the protection of his or her privacy and to protection against the misuse of his or her personal data. Nanea complies with these provisions. Personal data is treated strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties.
In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we endeavour to protect the databases as best as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.
When you access our website, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and generally transmitted information about the operating system or browser. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be identified, on the basis of which we can improve our offers accordingly.

Questions about Pilates
What is pilates?
Pilates is a holistic body workout that focuses on the so-called «powerhouse» – the deep muscle groups of the abdomen, back and pelvic floor. These provide stability and an upright posture. Pilates is trained either on the mat or on equipment. At Nanea Pilates all group lessons take place on the mat. The movements are fluid, controlled and carried out with rather few repetitions, so that muscles and joints are spared. Conscious, calm breathing plays an important role. It promotes blood circulation in all structures, relieves tension and helps to become more stress-resistant and balanced in everyday life. Therefore not only yoga, but also pilates can be called a training for body, mind and soul. With regular training pilates leads to a new body awareness. The pilates method was developed at the beginning of the 1930s by the German Joseph H. Pilates.
Does Nanea also offer pilates training on equipment?
Yes. Nanea has a «Reformer» and also offers you lessons on the «Reformer» in individual or private training. Please make an appointment directly with Nanea.
Who is pilates suitable for?
Pilates knows no age! Since the training can be adapted to the needs and fitness level of the participants, it is suitable for people of all ages – even those who have done little sport so far. Pilates not only helps to improve fitness, mobility and posture, it is also a useful supplement to other sports. And of course women and men are equally welcome!
Last but not least, Pilates is also suitable for pregnant women. Pilates helps to minimize discomfort during pregnancy and supports the body’s own recovery processes after childbirth.Do I have to meet certain requirements for the pilates training?
No (see also «Who is pilates suitable for?»). However, you should have the desire to perceive your body in a focused way and to work with and on it with precision and control. In addition, you should be open to certain breathing patterns and exercise sequences and be open to corrections from your trainer. With a little patience, decisive, long-lasting changes are possible.
What does pilates do?
If you train pilates regularly, you will soon change your movement and posture habits, because pilates

- strengthens your deep-lying, stabilizing abdominal and back muscles
- strengthens your pelvic floor muscles
- helps you achieve a smooth body

How often should I train?
The more often you exercise, the faster you will see results. That is what pilates training has in common with all other sports. But even if you train only once a week, you can enjoy and feel the benefits of the training. For a faster start, it is best to train an hour twice a week. Alternatively, you can do individual exercises at home for yourself. If you train pilates regularly, you will quickly feel the changes and will not want to miss the training anymore!
What do I wear for pilates training and what do I need to bring?
It is best to wear comfortable, close-fitting clothing that makes you feel comfortable. We train barefoot (the Nanea Studio has floor heating) or in non-slip socks. Please bring a large towel for your mat and, if you like, a water bottle. High quality pilates mats are available for all students in the studio. If you prefer to train on your own mat, you are welcome to bring it with you.
How long does a pilates group lesson last?
A pilates group lesson usually lasts 60 minutes.
How many people are in a pilates group lesson?
Usually max. 8 persons per group lesson.
Can I book pilates as a private lesson?
Sure. If you want to work on your personal topics, achieve concrete goals or deepen your pilates practice, a private training is very suitable. In one-to-one training, you decide when and how often you want to train. You benefit from an individual training that is tailored to your needs and can be supplemented with small equipment as needed or take place at the Pilates Reformer. A personal training is also suitable for those who have never done pilates before and want to learn it from the ground up. In the individual training you will learn the pilates principles and everything you need to know about the pilates method. Generally private lessons take place in the Nanea Studio. Other locations on request.
Can I do pilates if I am pregnant?
Yes, Nanea offers a special, adapted pilates training for pregnant women, the «Prenatal Pilates» lessons. Pilates is a very good way to stay active during pregnancy and to feel healthy, mobile and balanced until birth. Pilates helps to minimize discomfort during pregnancy, increase well-being and promote self-confidence during childbirth. A lighter birth and a shorter recovery time afterwards are also supported by regular training.
It is recommended to start pilates as early as possible in pregnancy. From the 12th week of pregnancy or after a successful first trimester test, you are welcome!Can I do pilates if I have or have had injuries?
It is important to allow the body enough time for rehabilitation during an acute phase of injury. Pilates is then possible with special exercises. Individual training is better suited than group training.
In any case, it is important that you discuss this with your physician before starting training. Please always inform Nanea in detail about your state of health.
